World Card Making Day and PPA

Hellooooooooo!!!! Are you up to your eyeballs in scissors and sticky strip static cling pieces? Are your fingers inky?? I've made several cards already, and I'm not slowing down. The weather is going to be beautiful, I'm making cards, eating buckeye bars, and watching football!!

I was over at PPA and their challenge is Gratitude and Thanks. Here's my clean and simple card.

After cutting the leaves with the Big Shot, I crinkled and crumpled them up and then sponged the edges and the folds to make the leaves more realistic. Wouldn't these be great scattered across your Thanksgiving table? Or maybe your mantle? The leaves were so beautiful that I didn't want to add much more to the card.

I stamped and cut out a couple of leaves from the Falling Leaves set and used a scrap of DSP.

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Falling Leaves
Ink: Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgandy, Soft Suede (for sponging)
CS: Bravo Burgandy, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Whisper White
DSP: Autumn Traditions
Accessories: Big Shot, Leaves #2 Die, Modern Label Punch, sponges, dimensionals

Thank you for stopping by.
I hope you find time to be creative today,
SHERRI

You made the leaves appear as if they just floated onto your card! Thanks for playing at PPA.
