Fall-ing

Hi crafters. Happy dreary and cold and rainy Thursday! It's soooooooo not nice here. And I was not able to get a good photo of this project yesterday or today. Major bummer. It's 100% fall here, so I thought it was a good time to use Season of Friendship and another BTB project!
The bag today is a 2-5-7-10 bag (it's called that because you score the cardstock at 2-5-7-10 inches! so clever!). The bag uses one sheet of cardstock (Really Rust here) and I used scraps for the tree. The image spills over the edges of the very vanilla cardstock. A 12" piece of more mustard 1/4" grograin secures the bag closed. To get variation of the leaves, I stamp the image two or three times WITHOUT inking in between. This gives different shades and stretches your ink pad color selection even further! Bonus! :)

Let's quickly talk about the cost of this bag. Very Vanilla and suede for the focal image were scraps and will not include in the cost of the box. One sheet of colored cardstock approx. 23 cents, ribbon approx. 11 cents, I used about 5" of sticky strip up one side and about 7" on the bottom flaps of the bag totaling 12" or 25 cents worth of sticky strip adhesive. TOTAL COST OF BOX: .23 + .11 + .25 = 59 cents!

Enjoy your fall day! It's almost the weekend (I do hope it clears up or it will be a movie weekend at my house!!)
