I need a nap.

Sorry for the slight delay.  I have projects and photos.  I just need to get the posts written.
If you signed up last week to be part of my team, you'll be getting a great box from me!

There's still time to place a qualifying Sale-A-Bration order, host your own party or join my team.
I'd love to tell you more about these options.

I'll be right back after a short nap.

Tomorrow is The Big Day!

Happy Monday Morning!  I hope you're as excited as I am about Sale-A-Bration starting tomorrow.  It's an annual promotion that allows YOU to earn free stuff for each $50 order in product you place.  $100?  That's two freebies!  $150?  That's earning you normal hostess benefits and THREE freebies. Additional perks for hosting a party or joining my team during SAB.

Which card do you like better?  This or the original??

Edgelits Video

I am stuck in an all day Safety Seminar today for work.  Not a fun way to spend a Friday  :(

I have a quick video from Stampin' Up! Home Office about the new edgelits dies.

I hope you enjoyed this little clip.

Bordering on Romance - revisited

Happy Thursday.  Here's a quick card using the Bordering on Romance stamp.  I stamped in StazOn and colored the image.  I used some scrap DSP for a scrappy look.  Dimensionals are everywhere on this card.
The card base is Old Olive, but the DSP, ribbon and main image are Pear Pizzazz.  A neat combo, separated by crisp Basic Black.

What do you think of the different looks from the Bordering on Romance set?

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Bordering on Romance
Ink: StazOn
CS: Basic Black, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories: Pleated Satin Ribbon, Twitterpated DSP, StazOn, Stampin' Write Markers

I heart You

Happy Wednesday!  Here's a quick and easy that uses your scraps!  If you're like me, you HATE throwing out even the tiniest piece of DSP.  If you look closely, the DSP border doesn't even stretch the width of the card (and NOTICE, that's a Sale-A-Bration sneak peek.  The DSP pack is AMAZING!  More next week on SAB.  Contact me if you'd like your own copy of a SAB catalog and exclusive benefits.).

Elegance was added with (1) chantilly lace (2) half pearl.  I had the most fun using the new fashionable hearts embosslit die.  It cuts and embosses simultaneously.  I placed some of the extra hearts on the inside of the card.

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Apothecary
Ink: Poppy Parade
CS: Early Espresso, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Big Shot, Fashionable Hearts Embosslit Die, Chantilly Lace, SALE-A-BRATION exclusive Everyday Enchantment DSP, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet, Basic Pearls

More Mixed Bunch

Do you remember this card? I gave it a bit of a facelift.  I still love this color combination!  I photographed this card crooked and now everything looks crooked; but alas the daylight is gone.  Sorry :(

I started with the crumb cake, randomly stamped the flower.  Next peach parfait and then filled in the gaps with early espresso.  I punched one flower out for a focal point, it blended in too much so I added a crisp early espresso horizontal piece.  I used my bone folder to lift the flower petals to give it more depth.  I popped the center with a dimensional and used a snazzy glimmer brad (love those!).

That sweet font comes from a NEW 2012 Sale-A-Bration Set, Elementary Elegance.  I can't show you the set yet, but if you've been to my webpage and seen my blog header (at the top of the page), you'll see more images  from the same set!  (If you're receiving this in your email, you will not be able to see my header; click the link!).

Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Elementary Elegance
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait
CS: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Blossom punch, designer label punch, 3/4" circle punch, glimmer brad, dimensional

A Monday Pennant

Happy Monday.  Do you have today off work?  I hope so!  Actually, I don't have work off; but traffic will be incredibly light so I don't mind going in today!

Stampin' Connection is a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Only website that is full of inspiration - that's where I found this great card idea.  The pennant punch and the color combination does all the work for this card. It was a quick card to make.  I added the textured background and changed the greeting from the original.
Selecting the color for the sentiment was the most difficult part of this card!
If you want to see the other images in these stamp sets, scroll down, below my signature block.  I try to include the images from the catalog so you can see the sets and accessories without looking them up in your catalog or online.

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):

Ink: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder
CS: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White

Cupid is Coming

That's right.  One month from today!
Here's a sweet cupid card with several elements (but was an easy card to make!).

This solid stamp was stamped in Versa Mark and gold embossed and punched out with a 1-3/4" circle punch.  (As a hint.  Do your finger ever get hot holding a piece of cardstock while you emboss?  Use a clothes pin.  I safely store the clothes pin on the cord of my heat tool, so I'll always have it handy).  It's imperative to use a light touch when inking your stamp with the soft pad of the versa mark. I keep the refill handy, because I like a nice juicy pad for a flawless stamped image.

I free-hand cut around the designer frame.  The brushed gold cardstock and DSP are both edged with the  scallop trim border.

Does anyone need an embossing re-fresher?  I'll film a quick video if anyone is interested.  Just leave a comment or shoot me an email.

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: P.S. I Love You
Ink: Versa Mark
CS: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Real Red, Brushed Gold
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border, Mini Vintage Tags, 1-3/4" circle punch, Big Shot, Designer Frames Embossing Folders, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die, Gold Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Powder Tray, Heat Tool.

Friday the 13th!

I hope you don't find Friday the 13th's as frightening.  It's finally Friday!!
Have you checked out the new framelits dies?  They are wonderful, especially for layering.  I've included the sandwich for the new wafer thin dies.  These cut DSP and cardstock.

This will be a cute layout to duplicate.  Have fun stamping today!

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Apotecary
Ink: Basic Gray
CS: Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Accessories: Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon, Big Shot, Labels Collection framelits dies, perfec polka dots embossing folder, circle punches
