A Perfect Thank You

Housekeeping items:  (1) If you've emailed me in the last week and I've not responded, please email/facebook or call me!  There's some delay in my emails.  I just received a Monday order email yesterday afternoon.  (2) Thank you for your January orders.  I hope you love your Sale-A-Bration goodies as much as I do!  (3) Clearance Rack.  If you LOVED last years Sale-A-Bration DSP, you can currently get it in the clearance rack!  $2.19/pack!

If you need some My Digital Studio suites, there are DVD's for $1.00!  Visit here and click SHOP NOW in the upper right corner.

In need of a quick and CUTE thank you?  These are cute tiny bags and a dressed up clothes pin closes it!

Have a great Friday!  Last night I celebrated a HUGE accomplishment with my coworkers.  I think it's important to sometimes pause to recognize efforts and completion!

I have a great weekend planned, including a house guest, a haircut, and getting ready for a special visit from a college friend!  Maybe I'll remake this bag for her with airplane treats!  I hope you're crafty too.

Top Note holder!

A special shout-out to all my my new friends from the PA retreat and Odenton show.

Today's project is a sweet little gift card holder.  One and a half Top Note dies create the perfect pocket to slide a message or gift card.  You can tie it onto a gift bag or hang it from the tree.  These are so versatile and quick and easy.

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):

Mission Organization, Week One

ETA: Ok, this was supposed to post LAST WEEK and I just realized that it was stuck in DRAFT mode. That means YOU didn't get to see it! Total bummer. That also means that you'll get TWO posts today, because I really want to share with you Week Two and it's rather time sensitive and I'm impatient and I don't want to rewrite the posts, so be sure you look at both projects today. Sigh.

Lets get organized...

Do you have any resolutions? Is organizing or cleaning any of them? In this fun segment we'll discuss great projects to help you get organized. This first project is my address rolodex. Instead of using my altered book, I decided to upgrade to a rolodex. The book was great, but with everyone moving my book became cluttered and entries crossed out. Ick. The rolodex concept fits my needs better.
If you look closely, there are two sections to the rolodex. The first section is organized by the months of the year. By the date, I write birthdays and anniversaries. Jane's birthday is January 15th, the week or two before, I'll glance at the calendar portion of the rolodex, see Jane's birthday is coming up and grab a card.

In the back of the rolodex are the addresses - organized alphabetically, I'll address my envelope and drop it in the mail. Easy. (And adorable) Stop back and see me!

Christmas Bonanza Diffuser

I love almost everything about diffusers. You know the ones - the reed diffusers that scent a room. I love that there's not an open flame or anything to "plug" or unplug. I see them all over the place - but they're quite expensive. Well, the cute ones are expensive. But look at these! I scored these in a dollar bin. I disposed of their packaging. I wrapped the glass bottle with a DSP scrap, placed them in a cello bag and tied a quick satin ribbon. I used my Big Shot to make the merry tag - it cuts and embosses concurrently. I used a bit of cord to attach the tag to the ribbon. Cord is GREAT for tags year-round. Get it thru January 4th!
Are you curious about that 5/8" Satin Ribbon? It'll be in the new catalog, in SO MANY COLOR CHOICES! To make that cool little notch, fold the ribbon in half and cut. Easy and cute (and inexpensive). Make a few extras - place them in a basket for those times when you need a quick little gift.

Sweet Deets (all supplies Stampin' Up!):
DSP: Merry Moments
CS: Garden Green
Accessories: 5/8" Real Red Satin Ribbon, Big Shot, Merry embosslit, Silver elastic cord.
