Ok, now onto the good stuff. I'm still working on gifts here and this one uses a Decor Element. Decor elements can be applied to a wall or most flat surfaces (maybe that boring file cabinet at work, your computer, a door, wood paneling..). Remember this summer I painted a tray? Here I'm using a floating frame. I made several of these last year for Christmas too :) I love this tree, it's identical (but larger) from the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set. I ordered it in chocolate chip and found this great mahogony frame (online & onsale of course!). It fits perfectly in a 16" x 20" frame. Do you love it??

Have a great Wednesday.

Sweet Souvenirs

Good Tuesday Morning to ya! I was a little bummed when the Decor Elements line came out because I have textured walls. Mucho texture. However, the vinyl can be applied to numerous surfaces - glass, vases, mirrors, wood. Here's a (cheap) plain tray I purchased for about $4. It needed minimal sanding and I painted it quickly. Applying the element was a breeze. The vinyl came a set of 6 ($14.95)- here I've only used one. Isn't this a great tray for entertaining? Or maybe in a guest room with snacks or treats for visitors? How about a gift for that special teacher! Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by!
