I'm sorry I was gone for a couple of weeks.  I had a gnarly bout of bronchitis that took way too long to recover.  I'm still working on getting 100%, but here's something bright and cheery to get the week started. Simply Sketched is a hostess exclusive stamp set - but the font and greetings are awesome and a great replacement for classic Sincere Salutations that was (unfortunately) retired.

Are you LOVING all the banners around town?  Seriously, I love banners, I love little paper banners on the card.  This is retired product, but I hope you use the idea.  I've been cleaning out my photo cards and found this from over a year ago.  Eek! 

Did you know the hexagon or square punch makes banners easier?

And how about a wreath?  You need a little less than 1 yard of felt.  Mine was $2.99/yard at regular price and I thought it was a rich Cherry Cobbler color!  I cut the felt in 3-1/2" strips.  Using the Big Shot, cut one-hundred (100) 3" circles.  You can cut multiple layers at once! It goes rather quickly.  :)  I bought straight pins.  You need 100 (one for each circle) plus a few extra for the bow.  The wreath styrofoam came from a craft store for $3.19 at regular price.  And don't forget your favorite Stampin' Up! ribbon

You Make Me Happy

A month ago we had a team meeting with a shoe-box swap.  I've talked about them several times.  I adore shoe-box swaps.  We create a design, place all the pieces, parts, stamps, ink, punches and tools in a shoe-box.  When we join, we pass around our boxes and make one of everyone else's designs.  They are so much fun!  This was Sandra's design, it was my favorite of the day.  But truth be told, she had an unfair advantage: linen thread!  Love that stuff.

Great job Sandra!  Love this card to pieces.
